well there are some differences,Heims would require a number of spacers to make the factory bracketry fit, Johnny joints are pretty similar to the RE except that they have a pair of poly bushings in them that can get worn out, whereas the RE has delrin bushings that reduce the play and dont wear out as fast, and can be easily replaced. There are good points to all of them, but i'm fairly partial to the RE. I'm still waiting to get Gilberts trooper over to my shop again so I can take some measurements to see if the RE joints will fit in the factory mounts. I'm hoping that the metric bolt size Isuzu uses is either close enough to a 9/16", or that its smaller and the holes in the brackets can be drilled to fit.

In ref. to "traction" bars you will not bend the upper ones.
The lower yes they need some beefing.I replaced my upper driverside with a modified/fab'd stock bar it is the sh--!
I clear my tank, crossmember, and can flex more than mounts
will allow.Helms(loud) or J/J etc. are next as well as
new shock mounts and a locker to let the flex work.
The discusion between upper/lower arms/links are two
totally diff. discusions with different end results
1)the uppers let it flex
2)the lowers need to not bend/smash etc.
