I'm using the Denso filter made in Japan, which is longer than the economy OEM filter at most dealers and, according to a cruiserhead, has much better media inside, has a self-lubricating gasket. It's for the 2UZ-FE, new 4runner V6, 22re (and probably the 1FZ-FE). Not sure about the 3.4L V6.
