Body Damage is Cool
I went to work here on campus this morning, and had no dents on my 4runner. I got off work about 3 hours later, and I had two softball sized dents and a little bit of white paint on my driver side door. I called the campus police so I'd have a report for insurance purposes and he looked at it and said it was probably someone's car door. Now I don't know much about dents, but I would think a car door would leave more of a crease type dent and not two round/oval dents. Plus how many students actually use the passenger door of their car, it would have had to been the passenger door of their car if it was my drivers door. I guess it doesn't really matter though, either way it pretty much works out the same. I'm just really pissed because they didn't leave a note or anything. Now I have to pay my insurance deductable for their stupidity. And I had much better plans for that 500 dollars.

depending on where the dents are,
& if paint is missing you might be able to have a
paintless dent repair person fix it for you,
we have them come to the shop for door dings & dents
all the time,
they do a hell of a job & are pretty reasonable
check around for the dent wizard
http://www.dentwizard.com/usaindex.html

they probably have a location near you

Yep, Dent Busters. I have a blanket P.O. open with them for the wife's car.

Pretty much just gave up on the 4Runner and the sliders do a pretty fair job of "urban protection". Walked out to the Runner a few times and found a teeny tiny chip in the powder coat and some color other than scratched up semi-gloss black on the slider .

Hey Chit:

Sorry about that man... Try Press-A-Dent or even Driver's Way in Pelham. P-A-D charges about $95 per door and DW charges about $80. Both do good jobs and they will usually buff out any scuffs to get the rubbed paint off.

Later.

Chit:

Parking on-campus sucks! That is why I always park down by Rose Towers on the street, parallel, so some doofus can't smack the side of my rig with their door. But then you have to worry about idiots who can't parallel park.

Sorry to hear about the rig man. Where do you normally park?

Brian

P.S. Your website link does not work!!!

Makes you wonder why they run.
