Hud I don't think you understood what I meant.
I would need longer coils to not pop them out.
I will probable secure coils at the top and "make"
a "funnel" on top of the lower spring mount to let the coils
move a little, but when suspension settles back down the
coils will align themselfs again.I am kinda braking new
ground alittle bit.The parts I think you are refering
to are the parts I made to let the rear suspension
move/flex more.

oh...ok....gotcha <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Sorry this post got O/T alittle The big issue with 2gen rodeos with 912's and a spacer either 1"/2" is the gas
tank is in the way.The upper arm driversside link (in the
rear) will hit the gas tank when suspension moves down
on driversside with 1" spacer and 912's.With a 2" spacer
you will not be able to let it off the rack/jackstands
because the drside link will be sitting on the gas tank.
I had to compress rear suspension 1" and put stock shocks
back on to hold the suspension down and not let it hit tank.
I had to make an upper link that cleared the gas tank to be able to use a longer shock.
The Amigo's/Rodeo sports have a gas tank that is notched out
to clear upper arm the troopers tank is elswhere so those
vehicles do not have clearance issues.I hope this cleared up your questions once again sorry for going O/T
Doug

So if took an Indy4x 3" kit and put 1" spacers on the rear coils, on compression I will be hitting the gas tank with my drivers side link?

(again thanks for all the help!)

Body Damage is Cool
No not on compression but on extension.Put your
Rodeo's drivers front tire on a rock/couple stairs
what ever let the other 3 tires stay on flat ground.
When your drivers rear tire drops and is about to
come off the ground stop and get out make sure it won't roll
look at the link on top driversside above the gastank
you will see how close it is .Now invision that link
closer to the tank because of lift.
Hope that helps.
Doug
Get your backtire to droop like this..I actually had Lisa drive up on a wall it was like stairs. You will see what
I'm talking about.Goodluck [Linked Image]

I see you fabricated your own drivers side link extension, I looked but was unable to find an extension by calmini or indy4x. So I guess I if I wanted to go 3.5"-4" in the back I would have to fabricate my own as you did?
