Instead of hijacking the 3.4 swap post with another m series question, I figured I would start another topic. HeHe... How much engine lift is needed for the oilpan to clear on a 7mge or 5gme? On this page ORC - Supra Swap this guy says that it takes approximately 4 inches of vertical travel to clear the front diff. I could possibly make a modified oilpan if needed. I just wonder what the combnation of oilpan modification vs drivetrain lift will be. No, I will not be doing a SAS(don't need it) and a 4" superlift is not very realistic right now. My wife has ok'd the engine rebuild/swap but I don't think I could get a lift out of it. At the most, I would be doing would be a 1" or 2" body lift which can also translate into a 1" or 2" drivtrain lift. Any ideas??? Anyone done this with IFS? Is is feasable without major suspension lift or SAS? Or should I just dream on? The junkyard near me has a few 5gme's and I think 1 or 2 7gme's out of Cressidas(not supras) that I probably could get fairly cheap(I think).

Thanks
