John, out of curioisty, how legal was it when those Tacos were in the water. I know around my area where i ride ATV's its Illegal to be in the local streams and such (we do it anyways). Im just curious if you know or not? I know we can get fined like crazy by the D.E.C though.

i dont really know the legal issues with the creek. But it wasnt only the tacos, everyone went that way. it was the trail. I'm sure its not great for the health of the creek, but at least it was fun.

i believe it's legal to travel thru the rivers since some of the trails in GWNF cross thru the river.

there are a few trails closed up in GWNF and the ATV loading ramp is off limits.

looks like you guys had a good time. wish i did not have to work that weekend.

I do not want to be reading things like this on here. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

If you do not know the local laws please find out, ignorance is no excuse. And if you do know the local laws and break them, you are doing a disservice to me and wheelers everywhere.

I have talked to the Park Rangers about the trails and rest assured the creek we went through is an authorized route. This was the first time I have been to the ATV ramps without somebody ramping their trucks on them, Thanks guys for respecting the laws.

We ran the loop trails and Second Mountainon Saturday. A few hit Dictum Ridge. On Sunday we drove up to Flap Pole Knob, Than to Meadow Knob on route 225B. A few tried and made the alternate rock obstacle and a few played at the Hill climb on 225B. I will post pics tomorrow at work, Dial up sucks.

I had a great time.

Thank you for clarifying the situation Kajo. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I realize that you put a lot of time and effort into this run and I could not imagine you going through all of the trouble without being aware of the local laws.
