ok so whats the thought on tj springs??...front & back??

if this is a good alternative...I found a set on ebay $20
all four springs + shipping!!...

(if this is a good option by the way...you all leave them springs alone!!...they're mine!!)

ok I'm very very seriously thinking these TJ springs will be a good idea(noone is screamin dont do it!) ...and if I dont like them...heh...can just sell them on ebay...
(hubby cant scream about $20+shipping it's a way good deal )

any how....yes doing lots of thinking....

if the stock TJ springs work nicely ...then shouldn't the stock length TJ shock go well with them on the kia???

in the back atleast?

I'm not sure if you planned on putting front TJ springs on your Sporty in the front, but I'm pretty sure you can't do that. The rears should work.

ahh...this is what I'm asking....
if they will work and if not why not?

from what I've read...the rear will work nicely...
but what about the front??....I want springs that will give it about 4" of lift...

I'd rather not mess around with a bunch of spacers and doodads...I want to keep it simple as possible...and it seems to me that all spring lift would be the simplest way to go....
so...if the TJ springs wont work on the front to get the hieght I want what will...there's got to be a vehical that springs can be yanked off from to suit the front lift

nope, there are no springs from any vehicle that i know of that will either fit the front strut coils seats or provide any lift. it is slightly possible that ford explorer coils come close, but still, probably wont fit and even so, they are way too stiff due to the type of suspension a ford explorer has. the only other coil i can imagine fitting are like older rx-7 rear coils, but not sure about them either, need to visit pick-n-pull more often and take some measurements ands souveniers.

Okee dokee...will do some thinking on the front end....
heh..it probably needs lil quadrunner springs
maybe have front spings made....
Dave your alter ego RockSportGear has springs that will lift it 4"?....
How much would your alter ego charge for the 2 front spings?

what are the specs on the front springs as far as fitting into the seats properly and such??....heh...I dont gotta jack it up and measure. I think I'm gonna go down to our local 4 wheel custom shop see what they can come up with..heh

one more silly question(for now)
why cant the seats be changed to accomodate different springs?....humm...just a thought

If you could meaghure the springs, i will try to cross reference it to any other car/truck make/model (i have fiew mechanic friends, who just love evryttime i go visit them ).

it will take me couple of days to do it & if there are any positive matches, i'll post them.
