I have a CD that is stuck in my factory CD player. Does anyone have a clue as to how to get it out? It's not even showing up that it's in the player, but I know it's there because if I try to put in another CD it won't go in. I tried to push the CD eject button and held it for several seconds, with no luck. Anyone know what I should do?

This used to happen to me in my stock '95 4Runner cd player occasionally.
Get some tweezers and try to pinch as close to the edge of the cd as possible (so as not to scratch it). If you shine a flashlight, you should even be able to see the cd edge in there.
Works like a charm.

Will it pop out on it's own if you disconnect power to it for a minute? Used to work on my 93.

To do that wouldn't I have to disconnect the battery, and then have to reset the clock and radio? I'll try that if tweezers don't work, it's a burned CD anyway (and yes it has worked in there before numerous times, so that isn't the reason it's stuck.)

does your burned cd have a sticker label on top?
I had lots of problems with those getting stuck in my 95 stock stereo. To the point, in fact, that I kept tweezers in the car for when I played them.

That or pull the lead from the back of the stereo. Batt is easier.

no I tried the sticker label once, but it almost came off in the player about 2 years ago so I haven't used one since.
