I installed a air horn and have it running to a switch, where can I get one that fits the slots on the left of the driver side so it fits flush in the dash.

cole-heresee has several switches to choose from. I have used them for my on-board air and my in cab winch mount. I can not remember the part numbers though but they fit perfectly in the slots of my 85. if you know the part number you can order them from most marine stores. I bought my switches at West Marine

Why would it make a difference?

Some switches may be rated at a different amp. than others. If too much current is run through a low amp switch, some nasty results could come to be. Other than that, it shouldn't matter much.

DO NOT GO TO THE STEALER!!!
The dealer actually sells the cole-heresee swtich. For you non-believers read the side of the switch that came from the dealer.

Go to www.westmarine.com and buy the same switch for 4-7 dollars. They work and look great, they even have some that have illumnination in the middle when the switch is on, and you can get different color inserts for different switches.

If anyone knows the part number for that please post it.

All of these should fit:
http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wc...p;catalogId=10001&productId=8147

For a horn I would use the momentary SPST 2 blade #192189 CH#58027-02BP
