Have you adjusted your rear brakes, I know sounds wierd but it helped alot on mine. Mine clunked when breaking to a stop and also when intial take off after breaking pretty hard.I also lubed up the the contact point on the pads to the rear metal plates.

It is the first thing I did. The e-brake handle is really a short pull now. Maybe the lube on the contact points for the pads was what the guy meant when he said it was my rear brakes.
Going to do some hardcore checking on Saturday with my father in law.....will let everyone know....
