Roger Brown sent the longer bolts. Here's a picture that compares the regular length bolts with the two that are longer:



I had to put the passenger side bolt in with the nut inside the taillight assembly (upside-down), as there was not enough room to get the longer bolt in through the body cavity opening. The driver's side dropped in just fine.

I had the next-door neighbor use a torch to cut the half-moons in the diamond plate to accomodate the spacer's intrusion, and while I haven't bolted them back on, it seems to have worked out fine. I used an empty beer can to make the pattern for him to cut.
