Too bad she sounds so beat. I wouldn't have her hauled to the boneyard though. There is a market for parts off the Wagoneers, and many AMC folks would enjoy getting their hands on that powerplant. A friend of mine paid a little over $2500 for a non-smoking 401, for his AMX, when #3 rod found it's way to the pavement, through the block. The 401 isn't the easiest engine to come by anymore, and their value to restorers normally exceeds the value of the donor vehicle.
