I had my 88 Raider 2.6L 4 cyl checked out for a hesitation on initial acceleration. The mechanic says that the accelerator pump is bad and I need a new carb. What are my options - rebuild (mechanic says I may not be happy with the results), buy a reconditioned unit (who sells?), or replace with a different type of carb (what kind, from where?). Any suggestions or your experiences would be very welcome. Thanks.
