If like my 22R, should pull out with a little effort. Might need to PB Blaster it first.

I will say this; make note of the length of the tube/stick. Even with a 22R out of a 2wd (Celica) and my 4wd dipstick tubes differed about an inch or so in length. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

you will need to drill it out. the dip stick should just fit in. the o-ring seals it. the unused hole will have to be plugged up, either tapped and bolted closed, or plugged up with a metal plug.

well i started to look at my motor a bit and i found water in cyclinder #3 but none others. i got it out and got the motor to turn over by hand. what might have caused this? the motor sat for 2 years at the wrecking yard before i bought it. it has 30,000 on it!
Thanks for the help!

how much water?

was there any water in the oil or was the old already drained when you got the engine?

when I got my engine, it was came from a 4runner that was recently wrecked and just arrived to the salvage yard. it had 36k miles on it.
I did find alittle cream color liquid in the bottom of the pan after I drained the oil, I believe it came from condensation from sitting at the auction place for so long.

Why the need for the changing the dip stick?
