Well you can leave a bad fuse there so u will have your excuse <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> Pop the hood and pull the ABS fuse out.Lots of people pull fuse it works great offroad(thanks RodeoBob) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />....the lite is annoying <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />. Is it illegal?...........mmmmmmm......well if you rearend someone,or side swipe etc...and investigators find the ABS brakes were messed with.....you'd be screwed..... well in those cases you'd be screwed anyways..... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> so go for it see if you like them better....... make sure the other parts of brake system are working correctly.
