Well, after about 2.5 months of use the sound is still great. It is not noisy, but at certain gear/acceleration combinations it puts out a mellow tone. I am using the 17748 model and running 2.5" pipe from the cats back with a 2.5" tailpipe, all welded. I would get this muffler again.

Sadly I had to get rid of my 1996 Trooper 3.2L due to a rusted frame.
