Evening guys and gals. Just figured I would bring the good news. My wife and I just got a new(to us) 2000 4Runner. WooHoo! It is awesome. I can't toot my horn too much because it isn't 4wd but it still rocks. I guess I get to go check out the runner forum now since I have one <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. It is definitly going to make a great camping vehicle though. Can't wait to really break it in; it only has 36000 miles on it. Now I really want a 3.4 for my truck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> What was really cool is that my wife wanted an Exploder but after I showed her the 4Runner, she fell in love. Now if I can just talk her into getting the supercharger ......right.. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shiner.gif" alt="" />

Congratulations! Even with just 2WD you can go many places, a lot depends on who is behind the wheel! The best thing about 2WD is no lift limitations like on the 4WD ADD 4Runners. Enjoy it...

Awesome to hear! My parents have a 2002 with the 3.4, that motor kicks a**. Wished I had that motor in my 88.
