As hounder said the toyota pickup switched over to the tacoma in 1995.5 the TRD package came out in the 1998 models and that is also the year they changed the some of the body. (flush headlights,etc) I havn't heard to much but i know the 95-97 had a few problems. also if you want to supercharge the truck you want a 98 or newer. I also like the look of the 98 and up alot better then the 97. Go with a 98 or up and you will be fine. redtoy92
