Interesting history link there. Now I'm not braggin or anything...but SUPPOSEDLY the Prerunner that I have was the first one sold to the general public. This is what the dealership told me at the time of purchase in Feb. of 1998. I bought it at Bob Baker Toyota in San Diego. Wonder if there's a way I could confirm this? Wouldn't that be something if the very first Prerunner ever sold to the general public was confirmed to have almost immediately been converted to 4WD?
