Based upon my own experience plus yours I think cleaning the throttle body and IAC should be done at every sparkplug change to avoid problems.

[color:"purple"]Yesterday I tried the trick wait 30 sec before starting it and when I tried turned it over it tried one time to start and that was it, then I waited another 10 seconds and it started right up. Today I tried it again and it did the same thing, almost started but didn't so I wait 10 sec and nothing just crank, crank, so I put the pedal about half way down and it finally started.
i'll try again tomorrow and see but so far it isn't working like it should.

Unfortunately it is looking like some kind of fuel/flooding issue. Try it again and see what happens.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Tried it again this morning and same thing, it tries one time to start but won't, then I try again and I have to crank and crank. Today it didn't help to put the pedal half way down so I put it to the floor then once it starts to run let off half way.
I wouldn't think it would be flooding because it doesn't smell like gas.
I might have to take it in and have a pressure test done.

Yea, I agree. Something is up with the fuel system.

You may not smell gas if a fuel injected engine gets flooded.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
[color:"purple"]The last three days I have started it as soon as it tries to start I give it a little gas and it starts right up.
The wife got her plates renewed on her Escort so now she is driving it. I don't know why she has so much trouble with the Kia it starts for me without much trouble.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

You shouldn't have to touch the gas pedal to get it to start. Something is definitely not right.

[color:"purple"] I know, but at least it will start. On warm days I have no problem so for now I can at least get it started.
