Thanks for the intake noise thoughts, I will look into it. All I have is a big K&N filter on the end of the turbo
inlet pipe. It is right behind the grill but open on the sides.
I finnaly got down to almost half a tank of fuel yesterday and refilled it.
Works out to about 12km/L or about 35MPG, It has slightly taller tires on it so its hard to be right on.
This is a huge improvment over the 4L gas.
It is very nice to drive, all the tranny gears work well although I mosly leave it in 5th once I'm on the highway.
Even large hills are not a problem in 5th once you are doing 100km/hr.
I would not do this conversion again unless someone had a stupid amount of $$ to through at it.
Finding another engine would also be difficult unless you just bought a new industrial unit (about $5000us).
I'll let you know how the air box noise solution works.
