I dont know about the lojack system, but many alarms indicate valet mode with the led constant on, and blink when the alarm is active. when the drivers side door is open, a combination of the remote buttons changes from valet to active. on mine (2 button remote) its arm->secondary->arm to switch modes. this may or may not apply to your system, but its worth a shot.
