Should be fine; same generation vehicle. Long as it's not a 2.7 with a 3.4, hehe! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

Take your time, keep it all clean and orderly, and it'll go good! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

The 98 ecu is not a direct swap into the 97 wiring harness there are pin-out differences. Your best bet is to just keep using your 97 ecu.
