Is this my tranny??? I have read about the sounds of metal popcorn. Wouldnt exactly say its that. Doesnt really sound like the typical exhaust leak either.
Background - right now the dashpot on the TB is sticking a bit, had it unstuck for awhile with some WD, now its back. whats the best way to get this thing unstuck, and do you think this is whats making the popping noise.

If its the tranny - how could I find out for sure?
