*Sure its easier...providing the engine is out of the compartment and on a stand. LOL Biggest time saver on major work with these motors is to lift the head off with lower manifold still attached. I do what you do, through the passenger wheel well, but leave starter in place. I can generally get away with having two band-aids nearby which is a plus for me.
