Thank you guys, yes it is a V6, I am planning on running amsoil in the tranny I have an extra box in the garage, it does have a bit of sag as I have noticed most 2nd gen 4runners do. The belts look practically new. I took a quick look at the CV's before I bought it and I didn't see any torn boots at "quick glance" but, I have to investigate more. I checked all the switches and functions when I took it for a test drive and everything worked properly. I realize that these vehicles aren;t made to be taken out to the local drag strip but, what are the common upgrades that everyone does the boost HP and acceleration a bit? I'm going from a 5.9 Dodge Ram to the 4runner so it's quite a difference in power. But, I've had mid-size SUV's before so I know how they are as far as power with the exception of the GMC Typhoon back in the early 90's, which was a BEAST!

I'll try to take some pics and get them up. Oh, I have the G144 setup, from what I read it is a pretty good setup, but it also can't be re-geared. Am I correct?
