Hello,

I new to this board, I usually spend most of my time on the Jeep forums. I am mechanically inclined and have done numerous modifications to my Wrangler, but have a few questions that I hope some of you toyota enthusiasts can help me out with. My wife's 01 4-Runner Limited is coming up on it's 30,000 mile mark and I need to tkae care of servicing it. I normally do all my oil changes, lube, most repairs, etc. myself on my vehicles and despise paying the dealer to do something so easy.

So what do you guys recommend doing at 30,000 miles? The manual says something about lubing the propeller shaft. Is this just the drive shaft? Are the U Joints sealed or do they need to be lubed? It also says something about tightening some items. I basically just want to know what you guys recommend I do. The vehicle does not see too much time off road, however the 4 Wheel drive is commonly used due to snow. I change the oil every 4,000 miles and run a K&N.

On a side note, does anyone know what's the biggest tire that will fit on this vehicle without any rubbing? I'd like to go a little bigger than stock if possible.

Thanks,
