Need a Spot
Ryan, I am wondering why you only went with a 1 inch body lift, did you have any rubbing issues befor? I have a 02 runner with OME lift plus coils in the front and 285's and would like to also install a 2inch body lift from Roger Brown. Do you see a problem with the two inch, opposed to a 1 inch lift? Just thought you might have already looked into it and have some insight for me. It will be mostly for looks as I dont wheel very much. I am just thinking if you are going through the hassle of getting to all those body bolts and lifting the body, why not get another inch out for your trouble. Also what kind of blocks did you use on your lift? Does the truck still feel tight and sound when wheeling and hitting bumps ect.? Just trying to get a feel for what these trucks are like after the body lift is installed. Thanks for your help.

02 4x4 Sport
OME goodies and Brigestone 285's
Flowmaster 50 series(too loud), Alpine in-dash, with a suppertrapp on the tail-pipe to shut the thing up.

I've got a Roger Brown 2" and love it. No problems with the install and no added squeaks or rattling. I think the only difference with the 2" over the 1" is you have to lower the radiator but Toyota already has holes that are in the exact location so I didn't have to drill any more. Oh and the shifter linkage has to be adjusted but no adapter is needed. Also disconnect your battery terminal leads before lifting because they will pull. The sparetire carrier won't be functional anymore so you might want to remove the spare and reel the holder all the way up.
