Okay, very good. Not sure if you saw this picture, but here is how mine fit under the flares: Looks a lot better than with the 7" wheels filling out that area. They sit just a fraction outside of them. I'm not sure what type of flares you have, but anything smaller than the "limited" ones, they will definitely stick out further than the flare. I've got 15x7 stock SR5 six spoke wheels right now. I'm looking at some stock 16x7 SR5 six spoke wheels or getting black rockcrawler 16x8 (4.25" backspacing) or Pro Comp extreme Alloy's 16x8 (4" backspacing). I like the way yours tuck inside the fender, so I may stay with the 4.25" backspacing instead of 4".

That looks good. Notice any real power difference with the heavier wheels? Mine is a 5spd with 4.30 gears.

I have a 2000 SR5 4Runner with stock suspension for now. I have Tech 1 Rockcrawlers with 4.25" backspacing and 285/75/16s with a 2" RB body lift and only mild rubbing on occasion.
Previously I had some American Eagle rims with 4" backspacing with the 285s and I had to grind down the caliper a little and had much more rubbing than now.
I would recommend 4.25" backspacing for sure.

Thanks. I went on 4WheelParts.com and they list a 16x8 Rockcrawler at 4" backspacing at the top of the page and 4.25" for the 16x8 at the bottom of the page? I'm guessing the 4" is a typo b/c the Rockcrawler with fake beadlock is 4.25" both places. Do you have the regular wheels or the ones with fake beadlocks? Got pics? I'll do a search.

the 16x8s for the 4Runner are 4.25" backspacing as I verified that before I ordered. Here is a few pics with the black lugnuts from Wheeler's Offroad and the black Gorilla locks from Wheeler's as well. Hope this helps! Brian
