I have Tech 1 Rockcrawlers with 4.25" backspacing and 285/75/16s with a 2" RB body lift and only mild rubbing on occasion. Previously I had some American Eagle rims with 4" backspacing with the 285s and I had to grind down the caliper a little and had much more rubbing than now. I would recommend 4.25" backspacing for sure.
