paragon is pretty cool, the rain was frustrating though (wimpy tires).

I'm down for wherever on the east coast. hopefully a weekend without rain.

Tellico sounds good to me. It will give some of us down here farther south to get a chance to come ride. I just can't make it to Paragon.

Is there any place down south besides Tellico? Tellico is nice but there is a serious shortage of easy to moderate trails there. Most of the 'regulars' would wind up running the same trails every day.

I think Rausch Creek would be a good choice for '04. It's in PA also so might turn off some of our southern boys.

Uwharrie is in NC which is decent trails.

I don't think Tellico would be that bad, the explorerforum had a Tellico ride not long ago, I'm sure 4Runners could do it if Exploders did.

I had a blast at Paragon this past October. I only wish I had been with a group of Toyotas. I'm anxious to go again and am available whenever.

Body Damage is Cool
As Joe said, we started discussing the planning of the Jambo in recent weeks. I'll be calling Paragon this week to see what dates are open. I'd prefer to have it in mid to late June to avoid getting too close to GSMTR (which is in mid-May). I personally think Paragon is a great venue for the event, despite last year's weather problems which were obviously beyond anyone's control. I wouldn't be opposed to having it somewhere else if the majority of folks could agree on someplace other than Paragon. Here are my takes on the possibilities mentioned above:

Tellico: I love Tellico, but there aren't a whole lot of trails for the bone stock crowd. Of course, I don't remember too many bone stock rigs showing up at the last Jambo. The advantage of Tellico is that there would be a much smaller entry fee and it is closer for some of us southerners.

Uwharrie: Uwharrie is only about an hour from where I live, so that part would be great for me. However, there are virtually no trails that will really challenge a built rig (33's and 2 lockers). Lots of stuff for the stockers, not much for the rockers.

Raush Creek: Heck, if I'm driving all the way to PA, I wanna go to Paragon!

More info will be coming soon, but let me know what you guys think.

I am definately gonna try (depending on dates obviously) to get out for this one. need a place to keep my spare tires, as I won't want to make that 400+ mile trip out there on my mudders.

AdamF, we should plan a midwest 4Runner Jambo
