Allen should have the date confirmed shortly - but it'd be safe to plan on being at Paragon the weekend of June 24-26.

Damn, I was hoping we would try out rausch creek as I have never been there. Oh well, Paragon is great, it just better not rain this year.

How about Windrock in Tennessee? It's got tons of trails and you could even run Tellico too b/c it's not that far away.

As Joe said, the date is set. We set the date to coincide with the Bronco event again. They seemed like pretty cool folks and you're always going to be sharing the campground and Paragon with another group anyways. Besides, old Broncos are cool!
So, EC4RJ '04 will take place at Paragon Adventure Park (just outside of Hazleton, PA for those who've never heard of it) on the weekend of June 25-27, 2004.
Details are still being worked out, but the plan is to have main camping at the Red Ridge Campground, with hotel accomodations being available at a local hotel for those who are less inclined to camp. A raffle is planned once again.
No monsoons are planned this year, but no guarantee is given either.

Very cool Allen! I think I might go.
O and thanks for pointing out that's it's 2004 - I had been looking at 2003 calendars. No wonder my dates were off.

Sounds good. I'm assuming we're also set on Paragon? That's great for me, but I'd make a longer drive if necessary. I've been to paragon a couple of times and I love it there.
I missed last year's event, but I heard you all got Paragon guides. Is that the plan for this year? I'm not sure if you can request certain guides, but Bill DeNunzio is an excellent guide - great guy, very laid back, a bit of a dry sense of humor. He led my group last time we were at the park and gave a great run for rigs like mine. I have the trails we hit at work if it's of interest to anyone.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
Man, I thought I was going to make it this year, but damn that's a long way for me to drive when I've got some of the best wheeling around right in my backyard. 10+ hours from Maryville, TN for me.
Maybe this is the wrong place to ask, but how many people would love to do some wheeling in TN? Places like Royal Blue, Windrock, Tellico, Big Mountain, Caryville, and Jellico are all right in my backyard. Awesome places to ride, and I would love to organize a big group of 4runners for a full weekend of camping and wheeling. Any takers?
