The Travel Channel videoed me ice racing last February. The old thread from Feb is here. It's finally getting on the air this week. Looks like it'll be shown:

It looks like my class of "bare rubber street stock" racing will be one of the less exciting segments of the hour. But oh well, I won 2nd place and my friend Corbin drove my 4Runner to a 3rd place finish despite MT/R's and my 4Runner's extra weight with off-road mods. Looks like they wisely scheduled an hour called "Extreme 4x4" right after the ice racing hour, too.

Yeah, since not everyone gets that channel or the Discovery channels, I'll see what I can do about a video clip.

I watched and saw your rig just chillin in the background, too bad they didn't show you in action. It was still badass.

Well that was a little disappointing. I expected them to at least show a minute's worth of the other 2 classes.

I just watched too. At least the 4Runner made an appearance. What kind of trucks did you compete against? They must have had a few different classes because those "jeeps" that they showed weren't just ordinary jeeps. They looked and sounded more like race cars that had fiberglass jeep bodies.

edit: I just looked at the website and saw what you were up against. did you use the lockers?
