I recently purchased a 1986 Toyota 4x4 exrtra cab with EFI and Automatic Transmission from a guy on ebay. Pretty much got had, but that's ok. Sh*t happens I reckon. The truck had a blown head gasket and upon removal I discovered the dreaded corroded water passage. But that's not the worst part. The WIRING HARNESS looks like it'd been run over with a lawnmower. The frame and cab on this truck is in pretty good condition considering. No rust at all hardly. The majority of the rust limited itself to the BED. The question I'm faced with now is what do I do with it? I bought it hoping for a reasonably cheap fix so I could have a beater to take in the woods. Now it looks like its going to cost too much to fix...unless I can find an engine harness for a 22REC with automatic trans that's in good shape for almost nothing. LOL, any ideas? I was kinda hopin that one of you guys might have one sittin in the weeds....since it seems like I'm the only person on this forum that likes automatics. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
