Ok guys, thanks for all the input. I've finally decided to just remove the toyota drive train and start over. I don't need a diagram. Its not that I'm confused about how the wiring connects. I'm just a neat freak, and if sh*t's not how its supposed to be I get anxiety. LOL. My harness looks like unwiped ASS. Plus the engine is pretty much junk and the condition of the transmission is unknown. I don't want to spend hours and dollars on the engine only to find out the tranny's junk too. So I'm going to put in a GM engine and tranny. Eventually. The truck is in too good-a-shape to throw away. It has too many miles on it (the drivetrain) to bother trying to patch up. So not it'll become a real project. I'll keep the progress posted. Thanks guys.

Putting in a TBI 4.3? That'd be my first suggestion.

Yep...something along them lines. I got a good 700R4 core and I know where there's a good NP 208 that'll fit on it. And my uncle has 4 complete 4.3's sittin in his garage. I'm not in a hurry though. Gonna take me at least a MONTH to get all the grease cleaned out from the engine bay. This truck is without a doubt THE NASTIEST TOYOTA I have EVER worked on. LOL. NASTY. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/notooth.gif" alt="" />
