you can get a hair dryer or a spot light and heat small parts of the decal and slowly peel it off, it's going to be hard if the sun has baked on and cracked the decal, but when you get it off the paint under the decal is going to look newer than the paint around the decal due to weather. what i would do is use a rubbing compound to blend in the two tones, but u will be able to notice it still just not as bad, then when your done with the compound use a good car wax to kind of seal it.
