Also, poke around in that directory if you're interested. There are more pics there.

Here's a thought back when it was discussed about being rear ended and the spare was what got hit instead of the bumper. [Linked Image]

I second the request for "How much for the very cool front bumper?" !

Alrighty, here's the full story.

I had bashed up my bumper pretty well (doing wheelies maybe? :)) and was in the market for a replacement. At the time, Calmini had just come out with theirs, but I didnt like their repuation. Joe Darlington makes a good product, but shipping would have added tons to the cost. I just wasnt impressed with the strength I saw demonstrated by the ARB bumper. Plus, I wanted it to be light.

So I went down to RockWare and spent about 2 hours talking with the lead fabricator, drawing, looking at pictures and came up with the design. I dropped the truck off about a week later, and after 9 hours and $750 I had a really cool, one-of-a-kind, custom designed, 50 lb bumper on my migo. All ready to pick up. They DID cut the front of my frame off and weld in a bunch of cross braces and other junk. That bumper has taken 2 really good hits, including a pine tree that I slid into while running an ice trail. I hit the pine tree at about 10 MPH and didnt even move the bumper. Took a huge chunk out of the tree.

Nice ! Thanks for the info . I think I will get in contact with Rockware and ask about a plate rear bumper for my Rodeo, after the holidays. I've talked with one other custom shop in the 'Springs and they want around $1500 for a tube one. If I was goin tube I'd go Stinky Fab, but I want plate, with a swing spare carrier (I think it can be done?)and hi-lift attachment(or Matts spare hi-lift attachment). Yes I've talked with Matt about his Amigo plate rear, but it doesnt quite fit the body and he'd rather not sell them for Rodeos.

Check out this [Linked Image]
Look also in the Chevy, Ford and Toyota section for other swing outs. Looks like they have exactly want you want though in pic above.
