I would think, in theory, that if the longer runners did act as though there were ~2 psi in there, it would at least help with in-cylinder swirl and possibly improved cylinder scavenging. In theory.

As I posted in the other thread about this topic, my brother took my spare lower plenum and is going to run it in to a machine shop he's used to see what they feel about machining and installing new bushings into the casting.

I'll let you know what develops.
