i dont think I am as savy with this stuff as you guys but in med school an old mentor always said to us: when you are up shits creek and ou can't figure things out look at the chief complaint....

turns over slowly, voltage drops, but you can crank it up every once in a while....

It kinda reminds me of alternator problems, ie loose belt, etc
