I like tomato soup with instant rice, frozen peas and a slice of wrapped processed cheese thrown in.

I make pizza from scratch a lot. About 1 cup of warm water, a pinch of cheap yeast, a teaspoon of sugar, 3.5 cups of hungarian high altitude flour and a taplespoon of canola oil makes an awesome crust. Spread it out on a pizza pan, cover and let it rise for 30 minutes.

Sauce is a 4 oz can of genaric tomato sauce, a pinch of oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, ground together w/ mortar and pestle, stirred into can contents.

2 cups of cheese, toppings of your choice, bake at 400* for around 20 minutes = tasty home made from scratch, cheap batchelor food!

Even in the dead of winter I can be found grilling chicken breast or steak outside over charcoal and wood chips with corn on the cob or baked potato.

I make killer chili and stew also, that will have to wait though.
