Sounds like Santy Claws needs to buy you a camp stove and a dutch oven!! Oh yeah, and some fishing tackle!

How the heck are you anyway? Good to see you surface once in awhile! Send me a PM and say hi!

Brown 1-1.5 lbs of ground turkey or beef or sausage. Warm 1 big jar of Ragu, or spag. sauce, add 2 or 3 chopped jalapenos and anything else that you like in sauce, simmer for a while(dump it all in the pan with the browned meat). Boil 1 lb of any pasta (preferably any short kind). Drain pasta, dump pasta into pan with sauce/meat, mix. Eat for a week.

Better then eating dirt eh?
These are great recipes, i wrote down quite a few and will definently give em' a shot

Quick cajun pasta meal

Buy a box of that Pasta Roni (it comes in many different flavors but i prefer Garlic Olive) It's very easy to cook only takes around 8 minutes. I wait for all the sauce to come to a boil and while i throw in the noodles/flavoring i throw in 2 8oz. cajun hot links, sliced red onions and finely miced garlic along with some Garlic Salt. Sliced the Cajun hot links in 1/4" pieces. Stir and server, it'll feed 2-3 people easly.

top ramon (broke college student favorite

Ok im a BROKE college student, I moved out 3 months ago. And have been eating A LOT of top ramon,(at least a pac a day) and have been wondering this for about a week now.

If you put the flavor packet in while the water is still boiling, it causes the water to boil up. I was wanting to know why this happens? And yes, I do have way to much free time

When i first moved out i ate this stuff like mad for around 4-5 months, needless to say i cant stand the stuff anymore! Try the Cajun one that's about the only one i care for anymore with some of my own added ingrediants.

As for the boiling when you add the seasoning? h*ll i dont know i add it after the noodles have cooked and it's begining to cool down...

I tried this tonight and it was great. Thought id share

I had one nice sized New York steak (mmm.. only the best!)

I added the following seasonings and let it marinade for 2 hours (id recommend probably 2-5 hours depending on how much flavor you want)

2 cloves garlic finely minced
1 T. Course Black pepper
1 T. Rosemary
1 T. Olive oil
2 T. Lemon juice

Mix all the ingrediants in a bowl and drizzle it over the steak or rub it in. (i did both ) Then i coated the pan with a little olive oil, set it on medium-high for about 5 min's then throw on the steak and let it cook on both sides for about 5 min's (or more, however you like your steak, mine was Medium)

Along with this i cooked some mushrooms satueed in butter and french fries (didnt have any potatoes) After all of it was cooked up i put the mushrooms over the steak. It was very good!
