Put the switch in. Pulled all my hair out.

Leads:

Lead 1. Positive 12v for the lights
Lead 2. For the down button
Lead 3. For the down button
Lead 4. For the up button
Lead 5. For the up button
Lead 6. Ground for the lights.

Now, I hooked it all up, and turned the radio on. Antenna goes up as it should. I push and hold the down button, and the antenna goes down like it should. Soon as I release the down button, the antenna goes back up. So now I'm frustrated. To start off, I cut the wrong wire. Cut some small antenna wire (the small one next to the big one inside the dash that comes out the back of the stereo). So I can't put it back together cuz it's coaxial or some thing...wire inside of a wire. So I finally find the antenna wire coming out of the amp that the toyota factory stereo comes with, it was a black wire with a white stripe on it, coming out of the amp.

So if I just used a simple toggle switch, I'd be done. Run one end of the antenna wire into the toggle, then out back to the other part of the wire. But with the fancy toyota switch I "had" to have, it isn't that simple. I can get the antenna to go up and down, just can't get it to stay down unless I turn the radio off, or use the tape or CD player. The important thing is...I got the lights to work. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
