I just might have to make you an offer on those gears! But I've got to check with the salvage yard on Monday to see if they have a 4.10 set to send to me. You see, the guy on the phone said that he had two e-locker thirds, one was 4.30 and one was 4.10. He promised to send me the 4.10 version. The one I have is marked 4.10, but it is clearly a 4.30 (10 teeth on the pinion, 43 on the ring gear). Maybe they accidentally shipped me the wrong one. I'm glad to hear that you got one that was originally 4.10, since I was afraid that only 4.30's were available in salvage yards. That means there is still hope for me to be able to do this without regearing.

As far as regearing, well, if I have to re-gear at all I may just go 4.56 to match my 31's. I probably won't go much bigger than that for tires because I don't think I'll need to for the trails I run, and the wife already complains about having to get into the truck while wearing a dress.

But I will definitely keep you in mind, since I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible right now.
