[WARNING: Thread Hijacking in Progress] (Sorry)

Well, I got beaten-to-the-punch on the whole [image] vs. [img] thing, but there was one more thing...

David, it's not your inner caveman that's the problem... WebShots simply doesn't allow individual photo-linking to outside hosts (like this board).

That's a VERY NICE LOOKING TROOPER! --- When the day finally comes, that is exactly the color combination that Miss Kathy and I have our hearts set on getting. (And since it'll be her ride for the first few years that we have it, I feel very lucky that I've already talked her into putting 912s + spacers, and a set of 285/75 A/Ts on it!)

So, if it has a factory sunroof, I don't suppose you'd be willing to sell yours in about 2 or 3-years, would ya?

Cheers!

The last 4x4 in your pics... Rover 109 Series III? Whatever it is, very cool truck. I hope to one day own a 109 5 door (diesel, if possible) and an old-school Mini.

Great trucks!

'98 Rodeo, Ranchos, OME 912s, General Grabber AT2 265/70/16s on steelies, Superwinch hubs, G80 code, Pioneer HU... two car seats and cracker crumbs.

Joel -- Hope the photos help you make a decision. I don't think you can go wrong with the 265/75's

COTrooper -- Yes, my pride a joy. 1971 Ex-MoD SIIA 109. Will take you anywhere you want to go... just can't be in a hurry. Arek will wish he had not shown me how to do the picture thing. Here's one with 32 year old Truck and 15 year old dog. All three of us like to drive around in the snow.

I have some pics of my all stock trooper with the 265/75/r16 tires. Only diference it that it is a RS(2 door), but I have never cranked T0bars or lifted it at all. Click on my webshots page on my signature.

sorry i can't help you with any pics, but i have a '97 (older gen2 body style) with 265/75 cooper discoverer s/t tires on a stock suspension and it looks like the trooper should have looked like stock. no rubbing and the proportions (body to wheel/tire) are much improved. i love the cooper s/t, but if it's for your wife, i don't recommend them since they are a bit louder. also, the speedometer will show a speed that is about 7% SLOWER than you are actually going so you have to keep that in mind (there is a device that can recalibrate the speedometer, but it costs about $190). also, keep in mind that even though it is only about a 1" increase in height, for us vertically challenged folk, it's noticeable. my wife who is 5'1" has to hoist herself up with the steering wheel or grab handle, but she loves driving it. good luck, taro
