Yes, the motor was warm/hot at the time. Here are the results:

Specs are 128-171. At the time I did this, the motor hadn't been run in a long time, so I am figuring it had some carbon buildup, hence the higher numbers. I need to do it again now that I've got some miles on it, but I wouldn't think it would change much.

I surely want to get to the bottom of it also. I need to do some more research to figure out what all needs to be down regarding the valves. I figure if it is burning this much oil, more needs to be done than just adjusting them, but that's where I'll start. I just don't want to put much money into...say the valves/head, if it is really the rings.
