Can you take a 2000 A340 "F" from a 2000 tacoma and put a t-case from a 89 - 95 R150 on it so it can be used in a 1st gen 4runner?

If my memory is correct I think read a post about a custom adapter being made to accomplish this application - for big bucks?

I know about the speed sensor issues mating this tranny to a 3.0, but if I put this in my rig it will be mated to a 3.4 V6 with the 3.4 harness and ecu
