This is my area. Does your keyless entry work with the truck running?
If it does, go to best Buy and pickup a 851R for $59.99. It can be added to your stock system. You can program it to start with 3 presses of the lock button.
If the keyless does not work with the truck running. Buy a keyless entry remote start system. I would recomend a combo alarm and remote start.
You can order the DEI 553T off ebay for $110. It's full alarm with remote start. It's the same as a Viper 550.

I have a 1995.5 with the 553T. It's a easy install.
