Normally, extended warranties are not worth the money. Especially if they are the ones offering all the bells and whistles. No kidding, you can buy warranties that will cover things down to wiper blades and other consumables. In that case, if that is all that gets replaced, then those are some super-expensive wipers.

What are they charging for the warranty? If you buy it, they are betting on things not breaking and you are. Look at the cost and figure in how much major mechanical things you can replace for the same price.

OTOH, I did purchase a 3yr/36,000mi with my truck last year. Cost me $1,500 or so and I ran out the 36K in less than a year, but...it did paid for itself almost twice.
