Ok, I need to rebuild the frontend on my truck. But its my DD so I cant have it torn apart for long. I ran in to a guy today that will sell me a complete frontend for $75. I was thinking it would be good if I could buy it and run it in my truck while im rebuilding my frontend. That way I can take as long as I need to rebuild mine.
But the frontend he has came out of a 84. I have a 86 with a SAS. I didnt do the SAS (I bought it that way) so I dont know where all the parts on my truck now came from. I have a hy-steer some im good there. The only thing im not sure about are the brakes.
Will the roters on the 84 front work with my 86 calipers? Anything else I should know about? Im going to buy the frontend no matter what. Just for the spare parts. But I need to know if it will all bolt on my truck with no problems.
