Conman, how much weight do you carry in the back on a regular basis, including trailer hitch (my Valley hitch is ~50 lbs, for example)? Were your measurements made with the truck loaded or unloaded?

Thanks,

Ed

Normally the only load that is on the Trooper is a baby seat(a baby sometimes) and a stroller. I have a Hidden Hitch and have my trusty Indy4x bumper protector(15pounds?). Add maybe 10 pounds for jumper cables, first aid kit, and some cheap hand tools and that's about it. Do note that I have larger than stock tires so that probably smoothed out the ride since they are heavier than stock.

I don't have measurements with me now but I'll check later. They were posted here but since the forum is purged, it's gone so you can't search it anymore. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Off the top of my head, when we posted these numbers my stock was very similar to other's with 2000+ troopers which I think I was around 17.5" from the top of the center cap to the fender flare. Then when I went to 912, it went up to almost 2" in the rear to close to 19.5" I don't have the 919 numbers but it shocked me that it was higher than the 912 when I picked it up from the shop which I was not expecting it higher just a firmer ride.

This is a pic with stock front height and just 912 in the rears: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/co...1+Trooper&.dnm=OMEstockfront.jpg

This is how high I got with just 912 in the rear:

That measurement was from the top of the center cap to the fender flare.

I'll see if I can find pics or measurements after the 919s install and I will remeasure the trooper as well to see if it settled.

Cheers,
Con
